Our first day as "Jefes" of the albergue. Rafael and Juanco left early this morning. We spent 2 hours cleaning the place then we went out to shopping. Afterwards we walked to the cathedral. Here are a few pictures.
Our whine of the day. So this albergue is a donativo, which means folks leave whatever monies they feel like. We use the monies to purchase breakfast stutt and cleaning supplies. Two problems here, few Pilgrims come through here (although we had 7 yesterday) and many pilgrims are cheap and leave hardly anything. The hospitaleros reimbursed themselves for expenses they had So there was no $$ left. So today we had to purchase breakfast supplies out of my own money.
We have one pilgrim now who came by bike, and I think he dropped only 3 euros in the box and another who came by foot. I don't think he put anything in the box. The bike pilgrim mentioned he saw 3 more Pilgrims ware on foot this way. We shall see.
