18 March 2017 - day 4

Today so far we have a Spanish man, 76 years old and another who is 53 and a 74 year old French woman who is cute as a button!  She doesn't speak anything but French and she just talks and talks knowing no one else speaks French.  She arrived at the same time as the older Spanish man so I asked him if the were traveling together.  He told me "no" but they have stayed at the same place last 3 or 4 days and he thought (happily) that he had lost her but she took a bus here and they meet again!

A young German woman (30) named "Virginia" arrived around 9 o'clock last night.  She speaks very good English as most of them do.  She is restarting her Camino where she left off last year and planning to walk about 25 miles per day.  She told us about an app called "blablacar" which gets people together for carpooling.  Have you heard of it?  A couple of folks from the Netherlands told us about another app called "maps.me" and another called "wikilocs".  Both of those are for finding routes.  Not sure if it's just walking routes or driving.
Our weather has been really great the last 3 days and looking at the weather report we will probably have good weather until Monday and then 4 or 5 days of clouds, rain and thunderstorms.  Poor pilgrims!

We spend a lot of time (from 3-10) sitting around in the office because unlike our last year albergue we have to keep the door closed and answer it when Pilgrims ring the bell.
