We had a couple from England stay last night. They were interesting because they moved from England about 10 years ago to Menorca, a small island in the Balearic Islands. They were really negative about England because, according to them it has a very fast paced lifestyle and the weather is crappy. Their eating habits were a little strange- lo-carb, high fat and protein. They make a concoction out of coconut oil, turmeric and black pepper which they add to yogurt and it is supposed to help with inflammation. They were around our age and in pretty good shape so I may try that when we get home. For dinner they cooked up a lot of bacon and eggs, no bread but for breakfast they only had coffee. A young (23) German woman came in last night and wanted to make sure she would be able to leave at 4 a.m. to catch a bus. Normally we lock up at 10:00 so no one can come in or go out but I did my good deed and woke up at 4 to let her out.
So far today we have 2 Polish women in their 60s, 2 Austrian men about 30 years old and a German man in his 50s. That will probably be it for today unless we get late arriving cyclists. Dad and I went for a nice walk today, we've been averaging 7 miles a day between walking and cleaning this 3 level albergue.
The weather forcast is troubling. We are losing the sun for clouds tomorrow and Wednesday they are calling for rain. Yuck
