All our pilgrims were up early and ready for their next stage. They were a hungry bunch. They ate all the bread and drank a lot of coffee. It is always nice to see happy full pilgrims. After they left we cleaned and then went to the market. Making us a fancy dinner - veal and peppers! All for the low price of under 5€!
After the market we took a stroll around the town and found a nice bar/cafe/restaurant called Los Caprichos de Meneses. Had a couple Vermut de Grifo and a tostado tapa of bacalao with honey. Very good. I also notice it is # 5 on TripAdvisor for restaurants in Zamora. They showed me their bodega near their place and wow what a cellar.
Today it is starting to rain. Yuck. We have three young Spanish pilgrims so far. All seem muy simpatico.
